How to use Crop Image

  1. Select an image and mark the area to keep.
  2. Adjust the crop, preview it, and download the cropped image.

Example task: Remove distracting edges while keeping the subject

Select the part of the picture that belongs in the finished frame. Include important details such as the top of a product or a complete line of text before processing.

Check the result: Inspect the exported crop, not only the selection overlay. If you removed too much, return to the original rather than cropping the already cropped copy again.

Common questions and troubleshooting

How do I avoid cutting off important parts of a photograph?

Leave space around faces, text, and the main subject when moving the crop edges. Cropping removes pixels outside the selection; it does not resize the remaining content to a requested upload dimension. If a destination specifies both composition and dimensions, crop first, then use Resize Image and verify the final file.
