How to use QR Code Generator

  1. Choose the type of information to encode and enter its content.
  2. Generate the code, test it with a scanner, and download the PNG.

Things to check

Test the downloaded code at its intended size before printing or distributing it.

Example task: Link a printed handout to a page you control

Enter the complete intended URL, generate the PNG, and scan it yourself. Use a stable destination rather than a temporary or private link.

Check the result: Test the actual printed size and confirm the decoded destination. A static downloaded QR image does not provide a hosted editable redirect service.

Best for

Encoding text, links, Wi-Fi, email, or phone details

What it supports

Five content types plus size, correction level, and foreground/background colors

What you get

Downloadable PNG QR code

Common questions and troubleshooting

Why will my printed QR code not scan?

Check contrast, the clear border around the code, printed size, and the amount of encoded content. Test the actual print with more than one phone when possible. Confirm that the URL includes the intended scheme and that the destination is public. A scannable code can still point to the wrong page.
